PENINGKATAN KESADARAN PARIWISATA BERKELANJUTAN MELALUI EDUKASI BRANDING BERBASIS KEARIFAN LOKAL: PROGRAM PENGABDIAN KEPADA SISWA SMA DI KOTA DENPASAR

berkelanjutan masih perlu diperkuat, khususnya terkait implementasi nilai Tri Hita Karana dan pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai sarana komunikasi destinasi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran siswa SMA di Kota Denpasar mengenai pentingnya nilai Tri Hita Karana sebagai dasar pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan serta meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang peran media sosial dalam membangun citra positif destinasi wisata berbasis budaya lokal. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan edukatif partisipatif melalui penyampaian materi interaktif dan sesi tanya jawab kepada 101 siswa kelas X dan XI SMA Negeri 8 Denpasar. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa mengenai keterkaitan budaya lokal dengan pariwisata berkelanjutan serta meningkatnya kesadaran tentang pentingnya penggunaan media sosial secara bijak sebagai sarana destination branding berbasis nilai budaya. Respons aktif siswa selama kegiatan juga menunjukkan meningkatnya literasi budaya dan literasi digital sebagai bekal komunikasi pariwisata di era digital. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pengabdian ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran siswa mengenai pentingnya budaya lokal sebagai identitas pariwisata sekaligus memperkuat pemahaman mereka tentang peran media sosial dalam mendukung promosi pariwisata berkelanjutan di Kota Denpasar.
