Abstract

Prevalensi stunting pada sebagian besar kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah masih di atas rata-rata nasional, salah satu diantaranya yaitu Kabupaten Sigi yang mempunyai jarak terdekat ke ibukota provinsi, sejauh 30 km dengan prevalensi stunting pada tahun 2022 sebesar 36,8%. Besar prevalensi ini tergolong dalam kategori permasalahan kesehatan masyarakat tingkat sangat serius (>30%). Oleh karena itu, program penanganan dan pencegahan stunting khususnya pada Balita perlu dilakukan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu balita tentang konsumsi makanan beragam, bergizi, seimbang, dan aman berbasis pangan lokal untuk penanggulangan Stunting. Metode yang digunakan yaitu ceramah, tanya jawab, dan praktek. Peserta pada kegiatan ini berjumlah 27 orang. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan tingkat pengetahuan responden termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Selain itu, tidak ditemukan adanya perbedaan pengetahuan ibu sebelum dan sesudah diberi edukasi. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan ini maka diperlukan upaya berkelanjutan dalam rangka meningkatkan pengetahuan dan perilaku ibu khususnya dalam pemberian makan pada balita untuk pencegahan stunting.
